On Wednesday 7th of February QMP held its 1st board meeting of the year at Stoneleigh Park. We had a lot to discuss over the course of the meeting and one of the many issues we talked about is how we can encourage the younger generation into the dairy Industry. The industry is crying out for young foward thinkers with new ideas and a fresh perspective. We spent a fantastic afternoon at Dairy Tech an event for the new generation of dairy farmers. We witnessed the very latest showcase technology, new product launches and listened to some very interesting feature speaker sessions addressing industry topics. The highlight of the afternoon for us was bumping into the one and only Gareth Wyn Jones. He had his film crew with him and was investigating the prominant issues surrounding the Industry. It was great to share our thoughts with him and appear in the media spotlight for a few minutes.
